Did we debated that alleged script back then? I think we did.

There were so many leaks. Was that with Kylo and Rey siblings and both had a different father?

That script was fake.  The person who wrote it just happened to guess the title correctly.

What's the current view on 'n****itwastimefoanu1' and their plausibility as a leaker?

They've posted an interesting thread on the Reddit spec subreddit discussing their thought on the trailer music. If we consider them to have insider knowledge, their take here is potentially hinting at a bit more than mere 'thoughts':
Darth Vader’s theme, Luke’s theme, and Kylo Ren’s theme all seamlessly flow together. It’s only after two cuts in the music that Rey’s theme fits in. Ergo, she’s a newcomer in all this. She’s not related to Vader, Luke, or Kylo.
Kylo’s theme being played in a lower octave makes me think he does pull that trigger, but I think everyone we know and love, including Leia, will have already made it to an escape pod.
Luke’s theme in a minor key makes me think he’s gone dark. Especially since it’s only when Snoke is talking at the beginning and during the end credits.
Rey’s theme in the minor key is not an accident, and I believe she will be revealed to be a Palpatine.
When Kylo reaches his hand out to Rey and the normal Force/Luke theme plays, I believe this is because their destiny is to be together and the only way Luke can be brought back to the light.

Better call that dude Gangsta Rap Dude. You know his original name contains a racist remark and I was already warned about it.

As for his thread. It seems a bit of a reach but he knows something. Something must lead him to believe Rey is a Palpatine related and Luke is evil or well went a different path. It doesn't fit into the trailer. Why hiding at Ach-To? Why os he being scared if he is the one pulling strings and controlling everything. Unless there is some bombshell like Luke all of sudden turning evil. Sceptical of it, Luke seems to me as someone who struggles with understanding of the Force, inner demons and essentially PTSD.

Not really debunked but it sees a bit unlikely. It's not certain, but Snoke's ship/Supremacy is pre Crait and Crait is where our heroes + Kylo's and Hux's arcs merge. Someone said he ws inthe toy set in one of the walkers/gorillas. Also, Finn and Rose mission on Supremacy, Kylo is observing preparations for Crait attack. Then he is with Resistance on Crait, it would be logical if he catched a ride with Rey, Rose and Chewie. We know that Rey, Rose and Chewie will be on Crait. Finn is involved in Crait battle and a bit doubtful he would go from Crait to Snoke's ship in this order. Blowing up his ship might give them more time to prepare.

What I don't get is why do we have that shot of Kylo leading those snowtroopers on Crait. Are we to assume he's fighting with the FO after the events on the Supremacy?

That part is a bit confusing. Maybe Kylo has to prove to Snoke his loyalty once more, maybe it happens before SSD or maybe Kylo works towards his own goal. Even if he helps, Kylo is a valuable ally or pawn, more likely pawn for Snoke.

EDIT: But back to that leak, I think Bothan Spy did said that Phasma's hand being cut off is not the worst thing happening to her. In this leaks it says Kylo kills her. Saving Finn would be truly the irony. If they set up Snoke going with Rey and Kylo and Finn after them.

@DarthRen

Yeah, I have a hard time believing that Kylo would remain Snoke's apprentice by the end of the film since he never accomplished anything of what Snoke bid him to do (kill/capture Luke/Leia/Rey). I also think that Kylo will realize that Snoke isn't the best master after all. Something happens between him & Rey on Ahch-to that changes a lot. That's why I think he has alternative motives when he's leading those snowtroopers, I'm not going to take it at face-value.

I always assumed Bothan-spy meant she got killed because what's more worse than getting your limb chopped off? I wonder what Kylo's motivations would be for killing Phasma. If he killed her to save Finn like you say it would definitely show the GA that he's not completely irredeemable.

@benorganasolo

I think Kylo killing Phasma would accomplish two things:
1) Signal that he has firmly turned away from the First Order (I heard that on Scavenger’s Hoard, Kirsty; I think)
2) If he does this and saves Finn’s life, then that might go a long way towards making some sort of less than hostile relationship between them.

I'm not taking that snowtroopers shot as face value. Was discussing this offline with someone, but that shot is clearly a callback to the Anakin-leading-the-temple-slaughter shot in RotS that it's probably more likely that Rian Johnson is subverting it. The more likely scenarios there are that Kylo is either an "inside man" at that point, or perhaps, he's even a prisoner or under duress in some way in that shot.

Now, that's an idea I haven't even thought about.
The visual callback is clear, no doubt about it, but I also felt that it could be a little deceiving game by Rian using the same visual.

The funny/interesting thing about that sketch is that it was written and aired before TFA was even released...

We have a new reddit (crack?) spoiler, folks:

https://www.reddit.com/r/starwarsspeculation/comments/76ll81/tlj_spoilers_from_what_i_feel_are_accurate/

ETA: To refresh your memory, the original "leak" from this poster was the "Rey awakens in a hut on Crait with Snoke" thing.

TLJ spoilers from what I feel are accurate sources - Details from the trailer.SPECULATION self.starwarsspeculation

submitted 8 hours ago by dontcallitaleak

I previously posted a thread on this sub detailing what I now feel is credible leaked information on The Last Jedi. You can find that thread here: https://www.reddit.com/r/starwarsspeculation/comments/72upfz/ive_heard_a_fairly_detailed_description_of_tlj/

As stated in the thread, I wanted to wait for the trailer to see if anything would prove or disprove this information. As of the trailer's release, I'm now confident this info is, in fact, legitimate.

About my sources: I'm going to be as intentionally vague as I need to to obfuscate any attempt to discern who they are. I'm happy to detail more, privately, to moderators if asked, but for now suffice it so say this: I have two sources who, through their jobs, have come into contact with what they believe is content from a mostly-complete cut of TLJ. They don't have everything, and much of what they are relaying to me is through their own lens of Star Wars fandom. Case in point, they mentioned to me that Luke's academy was on Devaron. When pressed, it became obvious that this was speculation on their part and not confirmed in the movie. So if this information seems detailed in some areas and sparse in others, and if it seems like someone's interpretation of what they've seen, then that's very likely true. That's just how this goes.

So, all that said, after the trailer I asked them about the scenes shown in it and to see what they can elaborate on. Here's what I got:

   The opening dialogue "When I found you, I saw raw untamed power, and beyond that..." and "something truly special" are two different lines. People have speculated that this is being spoken to Rey (I thought so to), but my sources say that this is spoken to Kylo. The full line is something akin to "When I found, I saw raw untamed power, and beyond that, weakness." Snoke is chastising Kylo for not killing Leia when he had the chance".

   As mentioned in my last thread, Luke refuses to train Rey for fear of doing more harm to the galaxy than what, in his mind, has already been done. The first Jedi basically saw that light breeds dark, and vice versa, and allowed the dark side to grow in power so that the light would in turn. The shot of Rey approaching the books is basically when Luke says "You want me to show what the jedi were about? Let me show you what the jedi were really about."

   While my sources knew that Kylo had an opportunity to kill Leia early on - and didn't take it - the scenes in the trailer of Kylo flying his TIE in the opening space battle surprised them, as it's something they hadn't seen. Putting together what they have seen, they think it's obvious that Kylo has the opportunity to kill Leia and doesn't, starting the rift between Kylo and Snoke that busts wide open later on.

   The shot of Luke's hand shooting out of burning rubble isn't a shot they were familiar with. The shot of Luke kneeling by R2 was. The Luke + R2 shot is from one of Kylo's visions.

   "Let the past die" no idea where this dialogue occurs. Possible it's not in the film.

   The falcon flying through the caves on Crait is being piloted by Chewbacca. The shot with Chewie in the co-pilot seat with the Porg? From when they leave Ach-To. Rey is piloting at that point.

   "This is not going to go the way you think" - This happens right after Rey fights off the sea monster, with Luke very intentionally not using the force or his saber to fight back. Rey gets pissed and basically shoves him down with the force, yells at him and calls him a coward, says he could save the galaxy if he could, could've saved Han. Luke gets pissed right back, tells her she has no idea what she's doing and is going to bring far more pain to the galaxy if she persists.

   Snoke: "Fulfill your destiny" - as mentioned in my last thread, Rey is captured early on and wakes up in what she thinks is a hut, being tended by Snoke. Snoke assumes a humble, kindly personality and talks with her. When he starts nudging her to act with the 'fulfill your destiny' stuff is when she starts to get suspicious. (A not on this scene - one of the sources I'm talking to says that this 'hut' is all in Rey's mind, that it's basically a force illusion projected by Snoke and she's in his throne room in reality. Other person says he hasn't seen anything about that.)

   Snoke using the force on Rey happens toward the beginning of Act III. This sounds less like torture and more like him proving that he's so much stronger than her.

   I wish I had more on Finn v Phasma, but I don't. Looks awesome though.

   Rey: "I need someone to show me my place in all this". This is at the beginning of the movie, she's talking to Luke trying to get him to train her.

   Kylo's outstretched hand: No idea. Sorry.

Not a whole lot new here, but some bits I thought would be found interesting.

@ISeeanIsland you guys are going to hate me for suggestioning this, but based on the crack spoilers, what if the big moment when Kylo saves somebody is Finn by killing Phasma? And that’s when Snoke absconds with Rey as the cliffhanger? Even as an OT fan who loves Han, patricide has never bothered me versus how he beats up and maims Finn for having the balls to do what he’s too much of a coward to do, for standing up to the FO and coming to Rey’s defense. Ben Solo has to make some pretty big amends to Finn for his behavior first and foremost for me to buy a meaningful redemption arc. And he’ll have to do it if he actually cares about Rey because Finn is her best friend and closest she has to family. So if he’s anywhere near the fight with Phasma and Finn’s in danger of getting killed by her, Kylo best help out. But if they pull anything close to mirroring a plot point, Snoke snagging Rey forces the two of them to work together. Of course if the rumor about Finn cutting of Phasma’s arm is true, that gets a little too into Monty Python & the Holy Grail if she’s got one arm and still fighting.

As for how Snoke could lure her away, maybe it’s I’ll let him go if you come with me. And she knows that unlike her, he has somebody who’s been wanting for a reunion. This is just late night conjecture, but there has to be a way to show how Kylo is going to overcome being an a**hole to Finn in a way that’s meaningful.

TLJ spoilers from what I feel are accurate sources - Details from the trailer.SPECULATION self.starwarsspeculation

@ISeeAnIsland

It's a fishy leaks because Luke is supposed to bitchslap Kylo, Kylo and Rey fight again on Crait, totally forgot Ach-To and Kylo and then after people asked came up with some vague scenario.

"Kylo on the island is an interesting subject. Like I said, I've been talking with two people, and both have seen a lot of the same things, but also some different bits. One of them tells me he knows nothing about Kylo on the island, that Kylo spends most of his time in flashbacks. The other tells me that Kylo shows up on Ach-to after Rey leaves, confronts Luke and destroys a decent chunk of the island in a 'fit'. But that source doesn't have too much on who (if anyone) Kylo arrives with, or what happens immediately before or after. So I just don't have a lot on that."

This part of the crack, made me laugh??!!!  Kylo goes to the Island, destroys a decent chunk of it in a 'fit.' LOL!

@ISeeAnIsland

I can make this work in my understanding of the trailer. Really, I can. I'm going to have to re-read multiple times (because that's how I roll), but on a surface read, I can see where it would/could work.

@snufkin wrote:@ISeeanIsland you guys are going to hate me for suggestioning this, but based on the crack spoilers, what if the big moment when Kylo saves somebody is Finn by killing Phasma? And that’s when Snoke absconds with Rey as the cliffhanger? @snufkin

I agree. I've heard more than once that Kylo kills Phasma, and this exactly my thought - he kills Phasma to protect Finn, and that goes a very long way to making their relationship not quite so toxic. I'm not saying they will be friends, just "not enemies."
