My real life friends who love Star Wars have mixed reactions. But for the most part, they are positive.

This!!!!!! JJ and Rian are on the same page and Kylo is one of JJ's crowning creative achievements.

On the two years, it's a bummer, but it would be much more of a bummer to get a half-a** movie. HI wanted an extra six months last time and he didn't get it. A lot of the stuff we have complained about might have been fixed in those six months.

I am not happy that we will have to wait longer for IX but I am glad they are taking more time to make the film instead of rushing things.

It's hilarious that antis were trashing JJ in the past while Rian was the Lord and Savior until Rian started talking nice things about Kylo.
